Digital Beehive is a UK SaaS company operating in the NEC (New Engineering Contract) contracts space. We’re growing our commercial team and looking for a Business Development Manager to win new customers across the infrastructure and built environment – including construction, utilities and the wider supply chain that delivers complex projects.
This is a genuine new business role with real ownership. You’ll be supported by an exceptional leadership team along with a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for coverage and meeting generation, while also being expected to originate and progress Tier 1 opportunities yourself.
Compensation: Competitive base salary plus commission plus benefits

The role
This is a commercial role for someone who enjoys selling, creating momentum, and landing deals.
You’ll be responsible for building pipeline and closing new logo business. That means targeting the right organisations, running strong discovery, shaping a commercial case, and progressing opportunities through to close.
What you’ll be doing
New business development
- Build and deliver a new logo plan across target segments and named accounts
- Generate pipeline through a blend of your own outbound, SDR-supported outreach, events and referrals
- Lead consultative discovery and stakeholder mapping
- Present solutions clearly and commercially (value-led, not feature-led)
- Own negotiation and close, with a strong focus on progression and next steps
- Be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and formal buying steps when required.
- Responding to Tenders, RFPs RFQs etc
Sales execution & discipline
- Run a structured pipeline process and maintain clean CRM hygiene in HubSpot
- Forecast responsibly and keep deals honest
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Product team to sharpen messaging and improve conversion
- Ensure clean handover once a deal is signed so customers get value quickly
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Proven track record in B2B new business sales (SaaS / tech-enabled services preferred)
- Comfortable generating pipeline and running a full sales cycle end-to-end
- Strong commercial judgement and ability to sell to senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Organised, proactive, and disciplined with CRM and follow-up
Desirable
- Experience in infrastructure, construction, utilities, engineering services, asset management, FM or adjacent sectors
- Familiarity with NEC contracts or contract/commercial workflows
- Experience selling into organisations with structured governance or procurement steps
- HubSpot experience
