Kickstart your career with one of the UK’s most exciting SaaS businesses in the NEC contracts space.

Digital Beehive | UK | Hybrid (with travel to clients/events as needed)

Digital Beehive is a UK SaaS company operating in the NEC (New Engineering Contract) contracts space. We’re growing our commercial team and looking for an Account Manager to work alongside our customers across the infrastructure and built environment – including construction, utilities and the wider supply chain that delivers complex projects.

Account Manager

About us

We’re a UK-based SaaS company specialising in NEC contract management solutions. We support clients within the UK and on an international basis. Our platform helps organisations in sectors such as utilities, infrastructure, government, and construction manage contracts with greater accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. As we scale, we’re looking for an Account Manager to help our customers get the very best from our platform and to build long-term, trusted partnerships.

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will report into the Head of Account Management, and you’ll act as the key relationship holder for a group of customers. Your focus will be on service and support: guiding them through onboarding, ensuring they gain maximum value from our product, and helping them embed it successfully within their organisation. You’ll work closely with Business Development and Product teams to capture feedback, resolve issues quickly, and ensure our customers feel listened to and well supported.

Alongside this, you’ll also play a role in protecting and growing customer value — supporting renewals and highlighting potential growth opportunities where our platform can deliver further benefit. You will be commercially aware and confident in identifying when a customer is ready to expand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day relationship with a portfolio of customers.
  • Guide new customers through onboarding and initial adoption of the platform.
  • Proactively engage with customers to monitor usage, adoption, and satisfaction.
  • Act as the main point of contact for queries, ensuring a swift and helpful response.
  • Capture customer feedback and communicate it clearly to the Product team.
  • Run regular check-ins and account reviews to ensure customers are confident and informed.
  • Build trusted relationships with a range of stakeholders, becoming their go-to contact.
  • Support contract renewals by ensuring value is clear and documented.
  • Identify and flag opportunities for growth (e.g. additional licences, modules, or services) and work with Business Development to progress them.
  • Maintain accurate notes and updates in CRM (HubSpot).
  • Monitoring and responding to support tickets in line with SLAs.
  • Contribute to tender submissions, from early-stage qualification through to bid writing and presentations.
  • Represent the company at relevant industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities to uncover and develop leads.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to support campaigns and share sector insights.
  • Continually act with integrity and in line with the best interest of the business. Demonstrating high standards of behaviour including responsibility, accountability and reliability.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure new clients are set up for success post-sale.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or client-facing roles (SaaS or B2B technology preferred).
  • Fluency in Spanish (speaking and writing) would be highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a service-first approach.
  • Clear communicator with excellent listening skills.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple accounts with attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness: comfortable discussing value, benefits, and outcomes with customers.
  • Curious and proactive, keen to understand customer needs and spot areas for improvement.
  • Comfortable working in a growing business where processes are evolving.
  • Effective communicator, with strong presentation and proposal-writing skills.
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement frameworks, including tender portals, compliance documentation and bid processes would be advantageous.
  • Able to manage your own time, juggle multiple opportunities and maintain momentum.
  • Familiarity with NEC contracts or the UK construction and infrastructure landscape is highly desirable.
  • CRM savvy, ideally HubSpot.
