Our NEC-specific contract management software, Contract Bee, allowed them to consolidate all contract-related information, boost efficiency, and create a smoother, organised workflow. This has created a transformative shift in their contract management, leading to streamlined operations, improved compliance, and an significant increase in project efficiency.

Challenges

Yorkshire Water’s initial obstacles in contract management included:

Decentralised Access to Contracts: With information scattered across multiple systems, accessing up-to-date contract data was time-consuming and prone to error.

Manual Defect Management: Managing defects and project performance without digital tracking was limiting real-time collaboration and oversight.

Compliance: Lack of controls and accessibility to data made tracking compliance challenging and preventive measures difficult to implement.

Forecast and budget management: Previous processes made accurate forecasting and management of budgets complex.

We supported a phased rollout of Digital Beehive’s Contract Bee platform with the Yorkshire Water team, helping configure the platform to suit them, ensuring they got the most benefit and a seamless transition.

A phased migration approach allowed Yorkshire Water’s team to adapt incrementally, providing ample opportunity for training, minimising disruptions and maxmising the benefits.
