What if the effects of a compensation event are too uncertain to be reasonably forecast?

The Project Manager can state assumptions on which the Contractor should base the compensation event quotation. If these assumptions are later found to be wrong, the difference can be assessed as a subsequent new compensation event (clause 60.1(17)).
